A couple of weeks ago this little jewel came across my radar, so of course we leashed the Foxhound and pointed the wagon into the Gutenstein Alps for a day outing.

The Myra Falls were first made accessible in 1885 by the Austrian Tourist Club, and the mere €3,50 entrance fee offers hikers 26 staircases and 8 bridges up and over and around the falls.

In the event you left your poles at home.

Our four-pawed hiker loved the outing, naturally.

The natural end to a hike in Austria!
