Black Raspberry Chocolate Torte. I brought jars of Black Raspberry Jam over from our visit to America to create this goodness.

And most recently a small group of food lovers gathered to learn Indian cooking. We prepared a magnificent lunch of Palak Paneer (I forgot to snap); Aloo Jeera; and chicken roasted with a whole black pepper gravy. I routinely prepare a similar potato dish, and I have a feeling the chicken dish will join the rotation of “favorites.”

Now autumn has settled in, and judging from the cover of the new grocery recipe magazine, October is going to be a delicious month!
